Crane Estate Wedding - Ipswich

Set along the sweeping coastal grounds of The Crane Estate in Ipswich, this wedding blended historic elegance with a vibrant, seasonal design approach. The setting’s grand architecture provided a timeless backdrop for a celebration full of warmth, color, and personality.

Planned by K Kerkorian Events, the day unfolded with effortless flow, allowing each moment to feel intentional yet relaxed. The design embraced bold, saturated hues that played beautifully against the estate’s stonework and manicured lawns.

Fireside Catering delivered a refined and inviting dining experience, perfectly complementing the celebratory atmosphere. As guests moved through the estate, the combination of vibrant florals, thoughtful planning, and impeccable food made the day feel both elevated and welcoming.

Florals highlighted locally grown peonies and dahlias, layered with rich fall textures that added depth and movement throughout the day. The result was a lush, garden-forward aesthetic that felt abundant, joyful, and deeply rooted in the season.

A Small Preview of Spring

It’s still cold here in Cambridge, but the studio is beginning to shift.

At this time of year, as a Cambridge wedding florist designing for celebrations across New England, we begin working with the earliest flowering branches — blossoms that arrive from warmer climates while our own landscape is still waiting to thaw. They feel like a quiet promise of what’s coming.

We love using these early spring flowers sparingly in our New England wedding work. A single branch can transform a ceremony installation. A few delicate stems can soften a historic ballroom or tented reception. After months of winter textures, their movement and lightness bring a sense of ease — a subtle romance that feels especially beautiful at the tail end of the season.

Designing wedding flowers in New England means honoring the rhythm of the climate. We don’t rush it. We let the materials speak. These early blossoms remind us that restraint can be powerful — that softness, placed intentionally, carries the room.

Spring is on its way. For now, we’re grateful for the preview.

Molly & Walter:A Celebration at Stonover Farm

Tucked into the rolling Berkshires, Molly and Walter celebrated their wedding at Stonover Farm, where historic charm and pastoral beauty set the tone for an intimate summer day. Thoughtful details and seasonal florals grounded the celebration in a sense of place that felt both elevated and deeply personal.

The ceremony florals carried special meaning for Molly, who chose to honor her grandmother by incorporating rudbeckia into the designs. The cheerful blooms added a layer of sentiment and nostalgia, weaving family history directly into the moment they said their vows.

Guests were treated to a beautifully relaxed reception featuring Mezze Catering, whose locally inspired menu paired effortlessly with the farm setting. As the rain continued softly outside, the barn glowed with celebration, proving that sometimes the unexpected creates the most unforgettable magic.

When rain swept in just before the ceremony, plans shifted indoors to Stoneover’s centuries-old barn, the same space where the reception would later unfold. What could have felt like a pivot instead became the most romantic part of the day, with candlelight, wood beams, and guests gathered close, creating a warm and emotionally rich atmosphere.
