Victoria & Yves: Foraged Romance in the Cape

In the heart of autumn, a season already painted with nature's most vivid brushstrokes, we had the privilege of collaborating with a client whose vision for their wedding day was as refreshingly unique as it was deeply rooted in the essence of the natural world. The concept was to blend the opulence of high-end luxury with the unrefined beauty of nature, creating a modern, clean, and utterly enchanting aesthetic. What set this wedding apart was not just the attention to detail but the choice of elements that spoke the language of the earth in whispers and roars. Among the most striking features were rare orchids, each petal hand-opened by our dedicated vendors, a testament to the meticulous care and passion poured into bringing this vision to life. The orchids, renowned for their elusive beauty and often a symbol of delicateness and refinement, were seamlessly integrated into the design, creating a breathtaking focal point that captivated every gaze.

In crafting the orchid kokedamas, our team intertwined the elegance of orchids with foraged moss, creating living sculptures that symbolized unity and natural harmony. Our forays into the wild also inspired unique arrangements with whimsically incorporated foraged mushrooms and ceremony settings adorned with ethereally arranged Queen Anne's Lace.

Reflecting on this remarkable celebration, it stands out in our memory not only for its beauty and the challenge it presented but for the message it embodied. It was a vivid reminder of the harmony that can be achieved when we allow the natural world to guide our creative endeavors. The fusion of rare orchids with the earthy textures of moss and mushrooms, under the canopy of Queen Anne's Lace, was a testament to the couple's profound connection to nature and their desire to share this with their loved ones on their special day. As floral designers, it was an honor to contribute to this unique celebration, crafting an environment where every detail was a love letter to the natural world, and every moment a step deeper into a modern fairy tale, woven with flowers, love, and the timeless elegance of nature itself. Thank you Victoria, for sharing this experience with us.

Kate & Matt: Elegance at the Fairmont Copley

This classic wedding in the the heart of Boston, was full of delicate blossoms and beautiful vines. With a gorgeous wedding ceremony held at Trinity Chapel and a reception following, at the Fairmont Hotel, every moment was steeped in tradition. Our team absolutely loved transforming the ballroom with late summer garden elegance vibes.

Shades of white and cream adorned every element of this day, with pops of sage green eucalpytus and warm jasmine. Delicate flower crowns adorned the heads of flower girls, greens flowed down from the mantle, and urns popped with lush blossoms.

We want to thank Kate and Matt for being a delight to design for, and allowing us to help bring their vision of an elegant, traditional celebration to reality. Being able to create for this gorgeous couple was a dream.

Brittani & Carlos: A Boston Rooftop Garden

There was nothing quite as surreal as curating the floral tapestry for an intimate Boston rooftop garden wedding at 90FS in the aftermath of a global pandemic. This experience transported us all beyond the chaos towards what truly matters- love and family. The open sky, the gentle breeze, and the lush greenery set the stage for a truly beautiful and intimate celebration for love. A handmade birch trellis backdropped their beautiful ceremony, bursting full of late summer blooms .

The floral design featured locally sourced foxgloves, dahlias, and seasonal blossoms, seamlessly blending with succulent blooms. The result was a breathtaking display of bright arrangements, capturing the essence of this love filled celebration.

We thank Brittani and Carlos for allowing us to decorate this special day in their lives with color, as we still reminiscing on the romantic evening that was created. Such an intimate, gorgeous event could only have come together with their kindness and ease throughout.
