The summer season lasted so long this year, so we decided to celebrate it with one last photoshoot with some colorful blossoms and very some very talented women. Bright palettes can be so much fun to work with, especially when you play with textural elements in addition to focal blossoms.
Thursday, August 17th
7:00 - 8:30pm
Join us as we explore the different ways of harnessing the power of florals from their aroma, therapeutic intent, and medicinal purposes to build your own small arrangements.
Award-winning floral designer, Laura Jean, will provide a floral demonstration as well as a recipe and fresh blossoms and herbs for you to create with. Participants are welcome to bring their own herb clippings to add into their arrangement.
We’ll focus on combining the healing aspects of the herbs we grow in our own gardens and the flowers that bloom this season to create small healing arrangements. Get your hands in the flowers and engage in the meditative process of arranging with fresh herbs carefully chosen for their therapeutic and symbolic meaning.

We are feeling very sweet and 1970s this summer. For this shoot, we utilized plenty of focal flowers, showcasing peonies and ranunculus. Summer in New England is all about these pops of bright and plush blossoms; and, we love to accent them with ripe summer fruits.
We love romantic fall florals so we were delighted to be a part of Lydia Santangelo's Rustic Romance shoot for The Improper Bostonian. We were taken aback by the beauty of Hidden Pond Resort in Kennebunkport, Maine. The wonderful food at their restaurant Earth was so delicious we're looking for excuses to go back! We're so grateful for the talents of Stylist Caroline Mauro and Photographer John Davenport who we worked with to create rich romantic wedding scenes.
